Soft Landing Consulting to
Enhance Legal Compliance for its Clients
Effective October 1, 2009,
Soft Landing Consulting will be able to offer a fuller and
more legally aware perspective to its consulting services.
Soft Landing has tied up with
Joowon Attorneys at Law, a Seoul-based law firm
with offices also in New York, Hong Kong, and Shenzhen.
Joowon was established this
year by Managing Partner
Kun K. Lee and former senior judges, senior prosecutors,
experienced attorneys, international attorneys and custom,
immigration, tax, accounting and business professionals.
Mr. Kun K. Lee was a member of the National Assembly, Prosecutor
General, head of the National Police Force, and was a partner
for another leading Korean law firm. He graduated from
Seoul National University and Harvard Law School.
Joowon is a fast growing law
firm that comprises over 100+ plus professionals. This
aggressive, full-services law firm prides itself on
uncompromised legal support and on hiring only the most
experienced, respected, and connected lawyers and other
professionals.
Soft Landing Consulting will
work in concert with New York attorney
Sean Hayes. Mr. Hayes heads up Joowon’s International
Corporate Practice Team. Mr. Hayes is well regarded from
his long experience in Korea offering legal expertise in foreign
investment, corporate law, M & A, franchising, constitutional
law and litigation. Mr. Hayes has handled
transactions for clients including Fortune 500 companies, Korean
conglomerates, franchisors, real estate developers, and SMEs.
He brings a unique experience-based perspective to Korean law.
Mr. Hayes worked for the Constitutional Court of Korea for six
years and is one of the most well-known foreign lawyers amongst
Korean judges and prosecutors.
Together, Soft Landing and
Joowon expect to offer a unique and pragmatic balance between
the law and sound business practices and strategies to both
multinational and domestic clients as part of their ongoing
services. Soft Landing will continue focusing on “making
sales happen,” but from this month the sales consulting and
training firm will be doing so with a stronger foundation in
international and Korean law.
