Lankov’s below article offers a counter perspective to Brad Martin’s recent essay, “What Happened to North Korea?”
As often is the case with N Korea, it certainly doesn’t mean one man is right and the other is wrong. It is entirely possible both men could contradict the other and be right – or possibly wrong. Such complexity, given the lack of credible information, makes North Korea watching something more than a past time for the feint-hearted.
